Zimbabwes only emergency and specialist services app, Help24 Seven, which offers its services to residents in the northern suburbs of Harare made headlines at the Zimbabwe CEO Network awards when it scooped two awards for the good services the firm is providing in fighting crime and helping people in emergencies such as sudden illnesses or accidents.

Help24 Seven, which was started by Mr Rodney Beadon, five years has been growing from strength to strength and was duly recognised for its efforts in improving service delivery to Zimbabweans last Friday at the awards held at Meikles Hotel in Harare.

The company received the corporate governance award and most responsible company award.

Mr Beadon received the two awards on behalf of the company at a glittering ceremony attended by corporates and business leaders.

Zimbabwe CEO’s Network is an exclusive CEO peer group organisation that provides s opportunities for learning and development through peer group meetings facilitated by experienced chief executive officers, targeted one-to-one mentoring, a customised curriculum, and focused learning events throughout the year.

Help24Seven, the organisation started by Rodney Beadon five years ago has been growing from strength to strength.

Mr Beadon says the recognition his company got was primarily due to two factors.

“The first is a dedicated team who realises the same dream and determination to make Help24Seven a household name offering professional affordable services to all Zimbabweans. We have a national network of the very best service providers Zimbabwe has to offer. Daily service providers from all over the country are vetted and join our growing organisation. Secondly as Zimbabwe’s leading emergency and specialist service provider app we have partnered with the very best in ambulance services and security, ACE Air and Ambulance and J&P security,” he said.

“J&P security understands the need for fast reaction services. They have some of the most modern search equipment and are constantly ready to change and adapt to meet the needs of our members. ACE Air and Ambulance are the leaders in the country in emergency services. When we were looking for service providers, we found most others despite the clever marketing were unable to meet the needs nationally. It’s important that our members are safe wherever they go. J&P are represented around the country as are ACE Air and Ambulance,” said Mr Beadon.

Help24 Seven recently added three packages tailored for their growing membership. The first is a basic package and the second is the premium package which offers national emergency services, with road and helicopter services from ACE Air and Ambulance.

“With the carnage on our roads, Help24 Seven responders have been witnesses to some of the most horrific accidents. It was therefore imperative that we implemented a system, where anyone assisting at an accident could phone a number and the next of kin could be called quickly. The very first of its kind of service was launched. Phoning the number on the car sticker, giving the vehicle registration number, from our data base we can contact the nominated contacts, dispatch ambulance services and advise the ambulance crew of any existing medical conditions. Scratching around looking for information is time consuming and dangerous to the person involved in the accident therefore cards hidden in wallets are not an option. We work to meet the requirements of emergency trauma patients as outlined in the golden hour of trauma. This is only possible with the professionalism of ACE Air and Ambulance,” added Mr Beadon.

Help24 Seven is also working closely with Miracle Missions and ACE Air and Ambulance on a road accident fund. The fund has been established to assist people involved in accidents and unable to afford an ambulance services.
