Harare PDC vows to get land barons to answer for their crimes Stands that were being developed on an open space in Mabelreign last year

Enough of the lies, mudslinging and telling people the lies in relation to land barons and crimes committed by current and former (council, central Government and political party) officials. This thread should give a clear direction of what is going on and what will happen over the next coming months. The players and actors.

Land barons are not spirits, robots or myths. These people are very powerful people with a lot of connections obtained over the last 15 years or so. These people have amassed so much wealth selling land illegally. Most are well politically connected and many even politicians.

What we have started has made many people angry. It’s worse that most Twitter fanatics hate anything by @edmnangagwa (President Mnangagwa) and can’t appreciate that crimes cannot be politicised. The person takes their crime and Government stands alone.  It’s time we separate that analogy.

Land barons work with council officials and have access to every document, every plan, every record that might at any point disrupt their activities. That explains documents that we sign as senior Government officials leaking daily compromising investigations and governance. There are so many investigations done on Harare Province and all other land matters. Arrests get complicated as evidence is destroyed internally or most times politicised. Most of my attacks are from @ZANUPF Official and @MDCAllianceZW WhatsApp groups. Politicizing our work.

Our mandate is clear that we should bring law and order. This cannot be done without any enforcement. That is the law and we have to respect the law. People should stop this habit or just building everywhere and anyhow. We have laws and should respect the laws and follow them. There are over 49 judgements that the Sheriff is going to enforce in the coming months. It’s important that people know the full list of these demolitions. Stop building on illegal land and stop criminals from selling land in courts. All councils should publish the judgements.

Harare is now driven by greedy and evil land criminals who are taking people’s money. In most cases the victims actually defend the land barons as they believe they are genuine despite us saying they are not. @PoliceZimbabwe (The Zimbabwe Republic Police) are trying their best to seek witnesses to no avail.

We are fighting an old and permanently established criminal syndicate for both space and land barons. People are paying $10 USD daily for flea markets (stalls) and this money is not going to @cohsunshinecity (City of Harare). Ask the people at Siyaso, Mbare, Glen View, CocaCola (Seke Road Flea Market) whom they pay?

There is a direct plot to smear my name and all Ministers involved so that we don’t keep fighting land barons.

I personally have been targeted with fake news of stealing land so that I lose credibility. I am clean. I am serving my country and will see this through like me or not.

Finally let’s appreciate that many people spreading fake news are interested parties in these land deals. I don’t see why one would be hurt by there being law and order. Let’s expose what’s wrong is wrong. Stop stealing land in the name of your respective (political) parties it’s wrong.

All local authorities need to find new sources of revenue not selling land. @chitungwizamun and @cohsunshinecity (Chitungwiza Municipality and City of Harare) have enough real estate to raise enough operating capital. Buildings, houses, bars and shops are being leased to cronies in ZWL (Zimbabwe dollar) and they sublet in USD (US dollars). We are auditing.

The online community especially in (the) Diaspora needs to support @edmnangagwa (President Mnangagwa’s) efforts to bring law and order in local authorities.

Please note it’s not political as alleged. In fact most arrests made (it is the) councillors’ themselves in councils (who) are exposing corruption.

Encouraging indeed.  We need a new breed of officials in the (Harare Metropolitan) Province who are prepared to do whatever it takes to bring sanity, law and order. We will continue to work with @ZACConline (Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission) to stop corruption. We have the names of all land barons and are building cases for prosecution. Like us or not.
