OK offers pensioners’ grocery discounts

LEADING supermarket chain OK Zimbabwe has announced a scheme for National Social Security (NSSA) pensioners to enjoy grocery discounts, access cash and foreign currency in its outlets.

In a statement, OK Zimbabwe said all NSSA pensioners aged 60 and above can now enjoy discounted groceries and various other benefits at OK, OKmart and Bon Marche stores countrywide from the 11th to the 18th of every month.

Pensioners who opt to receive their monthly pension payouts through an OK Zimbabwe issued bank card (Shop Easy/Money Wave) will get a 10 percent discount while those who opt to continue receiving their pension through their usual chosen bank account will enjoy a 5 percent discount.

“Discount will only accrue upon presentation of a NSSA pensioner card, positive identity documents such as national ID, passport or driver’s licence,” read the statement.
