The “2024 Southern Africa Schools Fair” was a momentous gathering, providing a platform for schools to present their cutting-edge initiatives and fostering connections among educational institutions.
The event aimed to create a synergy between schools within the Southern African region, including Zimbabwe, as well as schools and universities from Zambia, Botswana, and other neighbouring countries. Young Achievers Zimbabwe chief executive officer Mr Marvellous Chadyiwa expressed his excitement about the fair’s success and its potential impact on the educational sector.
“This is the 2024 Southern Africa Schools Fair, and it’s the first of its kind. We aim to create a cultural exchange programme and cement relationships within the educational sector. Zimbabwe is renowned for having one of the best education systems globally, and this event allows us to showcase our excellence to the world,” he said.
The fair featured an impressive array of educational institutions, including primary schools, high schools and various specialised institutions, both Zimbabwe and other Southern African countries. The enthusiastic participation of schools from outside Zimbabwe exemplified the event’s significance in promoting international collaboration and fostering global connections.
