POLICE are investigating the circumstances that led to the death of Kachingwe Biti of Lowdal Farm Compound in Marlborough last weekend.

Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Julius Chakanza said they are suspecting that a man identified as Mike from the same farm compound might know more about the circumstances surrounding Biti’s death on Saturday night around 23.45hours.

“The now deceased was seen with the suspect only identified as Mike.

“They were last seen around that time.

“They both are from Lowdal Farm Compound in Marlborough.

“They left the compound, leaving the informant who later reported the murder to the police on 15 May (Sunday) in the morning,” he said.

Insp Chakanza said Biti’s body was found lying on the side of the road near the farm compound with injuries all over his body by passersby.

“It is suspected that something might have happened between him and Mike,” said the police spokesperson.

The case was reported at Marlborough Police Station.
