Residents are encouraged to bring proof of residence in the form of a Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) bill or City of Harare bill.

Ms Mamombe will be available at the following vaccination centres in Harare West constituency:

At Marlborough Clinic, today, Tuesday, 20 July from 11 to 2pm.

At Mabelreign Clinic, tomorrow, Wednesday, 21 July from 11to 2pm.

In a statement, the Harare West legislator said she has received a lot of feedback from the two vaccination centres at Mabelreign and Marlborough satellite clinics concerning IDs  and has seen it appropriate to avail herself to personally help residents.

“Following the announcement by the Permanent Secretary for Health and Child Care, as your Harare West legislator, I will be assisting those who do not have IDs and need letters of confirmation to show that they are residents,” she said.

“Please note that we do not want to end up giving letters to those who do not reside in Harare West therefore, those who can, we request you to bring a proof of residence, for example ZETDC or Municipality Bill even if the bill is not in your name,” said Ms Mamombe.

The Ministry of Health has directed that community leaders such as MPs and traditional leaders in the rural areas can write letters for members of their communities and constituencies confirming they indeed reside in those areas to help them get Covid-19 vaccination jabs.
